His nickname was replaced by 'bak'(renamed of father in Terengganu) to bridge the gap between Malaysia's (Peyatim) President Orphan Datuk Dr Tengku Mahmud Mansor with orphans living in 52 hostels nationwide.It was even a call that made it easier for him to get to know the former resident of the orphanage even after years of leaving. He, also known as the 'Ayahku' call among friends and he was proud when the orphan admonished him and called him with a call despite being separated.
